NetflixExtending a partnership forged during last year’s holiday season, Netflix has created a unique campaign that has enlisted the support of Anne Hathaway, Scarlett Johansson, Ben Affleck and Jessica Alba this holiday season.  Each celebrity have created holiday-themed artwork that will adorn Netflix gift subscriptions.  In addition, each actor’s work will be featured in a limited-edition Netflix Holiday Gift Box, a red, velvet-lined commemorative showcase featuring an individually signed and numbered print and a lifetime membership to Netflix.  Only 100 boxes have been produced and will be given to those making a $5,000 donation to Feeding America at www.netflix.com/holidaygiftbox.  One hundred percent of the $5,000 donation will be donated to Feeding America.  Netflix holiday gift box and gift subscriptions are only available until December 29, 2008.

This Thanksgiving, Hallmark and Feeding America are partnering to help feed our nation’s hungry. Hallmark will donate 1 percent of the net sales of its Hallmark branded and Connections from Hallmark-branded 2008 Thanksgiving cards to Feeding America. Additionally, available on www.Hallmark.BusinessGreetings.com, is the charity collection featuring eight sincere, business-appropriate holiday card designs. Website customers have the option to choose from a handful of charities they’d like to support. The back of each card is customized to denote the charity of choice and let recipients know twenty percent of the net proceeds from the sale of the card will be directed to the selected charity.

During the Thanksgiving season Macy's is providing one million meals to those at risk of hunger through Feeding America. Macy's "Partners in Time" employee volunteers and members of the Macy's Culinary Council also will assist in preparation of meals for hunger relief charities in Atlanta, Miami, Philadelphia and San Francisco throughout November. Pillsbury “Home Is Calling”
Pillsbury is encouraging people to share the warmth of home this holiday season by helping stock America’s food banks. Consumers can view their new “Home Is Calling” advertisement on www.pillsbury.com and forward a link to the ad to a friend. Every time the link is forwarded from the web site, Pillsbury will donate to help Feeding America deliver more than one pound of groceries to food banks nationwide. Pillsbury will donate up to $25,000 to deliver more than 250,000 pounds of groceries. At a minimum, Pillsbury will donate $5,000 to deliver more than 50,000 pounds of groceries. Offer expires December 31, 2008.

Pinnacle Foods

Pinnacle Foods Group, LLC, a company that provides prepared convenience food products in the United States and Canada has partnered with Feeding America help fight hunger. During November, 5¢ for every coupon redeemed (up to $25,000) will be donated to Feeding America. In 2007, Pinnacle Foods raised over $95,000 with their national program, along with account specific programs with leading grocers across the country. Celebrating “30 Delicious Years,” The Cheesecake Factory is serving up several sweet initiatives throughout the year. Chicken of the Sea Chicken of the Sea
Beginning Aug. 1, Chicken of the Sea International is asking people if they have what it takes to become a star by creating the newest verse of the company’s famous, catchy jingle. The Mermaid Jingle Jam, an online and interactive contest, is giving consumers the opportunity to come up with their own 30- to 90-second jingle that incorporates Chicken of the Sea’s original lyrics, key messages about seafood and the contestant’s verse into a new format – a music video. The grand-prize winner will receive a celebrity-style trip to Universal Studios Hollywood, and, the Feeding America food bank in the winner’s area will receive a truckload of Chicken of the Sea seafood!

Feeding America is honored to have been selected as a charity partner of the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation this year. Clothes Off Our Back hosts charity auctions showcasing today's hottest celebrity attire. Items are put up for bid to the public with proceeds going to benefit children's charities, including Feeding America. Over 500 celebrities have participated in Clothes Off Our Back auctions since its inception in 2002, helping raise over $2 million for various children's charities. Shedd’s Spread Country Crock has partnered with Feeding America again in 2008 to launch their “Small Changes” campaign that will donate meals to needy families. Amy Grant, five-time Grammy Award-winning singer, also continues her partnership with the Country Crock campaign benefiting Feeding America. The Pampered Chef has been a loyal supporter of Feeding America since 1991. In that time, The Pampered Chef has raised nearly $13 Million to support our Network. As part of their "Round-Up from the Heart" campaign, Cooking Show guests are encouraged to "round-up" their orders to the next dollar or beyond. Money raised from these shows goes to the network member in that local area.

For the 16th annual campaign this year Pampered Chef is also offering a special Round Up from the Heart Trivet. For every trivet sold, The Pampered Chef will contribute $2 to Feeding America. More info

Ruby Tuesday Ruby Tuesday
Ruby Tuesday is supporting Feeding America through their “Cookies for a Cause” program. For every purchase of their gourmet, made to order cookies, Ruby Tuesday will make a donation to the local Feeding America Network Member. Ruby Tuesday has reached their goal of raising more than $100,000 for the first year of this program launched in November of 2007.

STOUFFER’S®

Feeding America is a proud beneficiary of STOUFFER’S® Dinner Club program where consumers are urged to collect Dinner Club points for each STOUFFER’S® single-serve meal they purchase. Users can either use their points to bid on fun items, or donate them with each point equaling a donation of one meal to Feeding America.
