ARM & HAMMER® Partners with America's Second Harvest to Fight Hunger in America

Brand Pledges Proceeds from Sales of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda to Combat Hunger This Holiday Season
CHICAGO --- November 2nd, 2007 --- America’s Second Harvest — The Nation’s Food Bank Network, announced today that ARM & HAMMER® has joined the fight against hunger this holiday season. For every one-pound box of ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda purchased in December, ARM & HAMMER® will donate a portion of the proceeds to help provide food to more than 25 million Americans at risk of hunger.
“It is our privilege to give back to the communities that have made us a trusted member of America’s families for generations,” said Jim Craigie, CEO of Church & Dwight Co., Inc., parent company of ARM & HAMMER®. “We know the urgency of the hunger epidemic in America and would like to help bring attention to this cause.”
Church & Dwight Co., Inc., will present a check for $50,000 to America’s Second Harvest on behalf of ARM & HAMMER® after the holidays. This donation will help provide more than 100,000 pounds of food and groceries to people served by the 205 food banks in the network.
