America's Second Harvest Welcomes Wendy Falk Macgregor as Senior Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer
CHICAGO --- September 26, 2006 --- America's Second Harvest — The Nation's Food Bank Network has named Wendy Falk MacGregor as Senior Vice President / Chief Marketing Officer.
The hiring of MacGregor marks an important turn for America’s Second Harvest, the nation's leading hunger-relief organization. Plans are underway to brand and market America's Second Harvest to more effectively combat hunger in America.
MacGregor comes to America's Second Harvest with 18 years of marketing,
advertising and branding experience with some of the world's most prestigious
brands.
MacGregor most recently worked at Starcom Worldwide, where
she held the position of Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing. In that
role, MacGregor oversaw several initiatives, including an expansion plan for the
agency and day-to-day operations for several client accounts.
Prior to her time at Starcom Worldwide, MacGregor worked at Hyatt Corporation as the Vice President of Marketing Programs. In this position, MacGregor oversaw Hotel Marketing, Resort Marketing, Business Marketing, Partner Marketing and Advertising. MacGregor was responsible for the development of Hyatt’s first-ever global advertising campaign, the marketing introduction of the successful Hyatt.com Best Rate Guarantee and many of the promotional programs created to stimulate travel during the industry’s downturn. In recognition of this work, MacGregor was named a "Top 50 Marketer" by Advertising Age in 2003.

MacGregor holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin.
