Section 10

10 - Agencies and Food Programs:
Profiles
Up until now, the discussion has focused mainly on information from the client survey. This chapter begins the presentation of the results from the survey of agencies. The first section details the numbers of responses received from various types of agencies. Next we present information on what combinations of programs are operated by the responding agencies. Subsequent sections examine agency characteristics, such as years of program operation, services provided other than food distribution, and the organizational nature of the agencies. Agency estimates of the changes in their numbers of clients between 1998 and 2001 are also presented.
